Tharindu Kaushal in Sri Lanka's Test squad
Sri Lanka's cricket selectors named uncapped teenager off-spinner Tharindu Kaushal in a 15-man squad for a two-Test home series against New Zealand starting at Galle on November 17.
Tharindu Kaushal represented Sri Lanka at the under-19 World Cup in Australia earlier this year and is a member of the Sri Lanka one-day squad currently playing New Zealand in a five-match series,but did not figure in the opening three games.
--> The 19-year-old is one of the three specialist spinners in the team along with Rangana Herath and Suraj Randiv for the Tests to be played in Next week.
Sri Lanka currently lead the one-day series 2-0 following victories in the second and third matches. The opening game was called off without a ball being bowled due to rain.
